Stan Store is a storefront for creators that happens to work as a link in bio. You get one page to put in your Instagram or TikTok bio, and on it you sell digital products, courses, coaching calls and bookings, with the checkout happening on the page rather than somewhere else.

What it costs#

What the subscription buys is the absence of a percentage. Stan takes 0% on top of what Stripe or PayPal charge you per transaction, which is the whole pitch: the fee is fixed, so it stops scaling with your revenue.
The arithmetic that decides it#
Against a tool taking 9–12% on its free plan, Stan is cheaper the moment your monthly sales pass roughly $240–320, and more expensive every month you sell nothing. That is the entire decision, and it is worth doing on paper with your actual numbers rather than on vibes.
If you are not selling yet, a $29 monthly bill for a page is a strange first purchase. If you are selling steadily, the percentage tools quietly cost more than they look like they do.
Who it suits#
Creators who already have an audience and something to sell to it — courses, presets, templates, one-to-one time. It is TikTok-native in culture and the product is built around the transaction: checkout, upsells, email capture on purchase, payouts.
Who it does not suit: anyone whose page is a page. If you want somewhere to put your links, your video and your booking form and you are not running a shop, you are paying $29 a month for a storefront you will not use, and there are free tools that do the page part better.
The alternatives#
Beacons is the closest comparison — an all-in-one creator suite with a store, but with a free tier, and a 9% cut that stays in place until you reach its $30 Creator Plus tier. Linktree sells digital products too, at 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, and 0% only on Premium. Gumroad and Payhip are storefronts without the bio-page framing.
