What is Beacons.ai?

A creator suite that starts with a link page: store, email, media kit. Free tier with a 9% cut, and the question worth asking before you move in.

A modular creator profile surrounded by store, email, media and analytics tools

Beacons is a creator business suite that starts with a link in bio page. You get the page, and attached to it a store, email marketing, a media kit for brand deals, and analytics — all under one login rather than four subscriptions.

The .ai in beacons.ai is not decoration: current plans include an AI Link in Bio Designer plus AI text and image generation alongside the conventional editor.

What you get without paying#

There is a free tier, and it is more generous than most: you get the page, a store and a media kit on it. What it costs you instead of money is a 9% cut of what you sell.

PlanMonthlyAnnualSeller feeLogo removed?
Free$0$09%No
Creator$10/mo$8.33/mo9%No
Creator Plus$30/mo$25/mo0%Yes
Creator Max$90/mo$75/mo0%Yes

Two things in that table are easy to miss and worth the second look. The 9% does not go away when you start paying — the $10 Creator tier still carries it, and 0% begins at $30 a month. And $30 is also where the Beacons logo comes off your page, which is the tier most people picture when they picture "the paid one". Checked against Beacons plans on 14 August 2026 — these move.

That trade is worth thinking about rather than skimming. A percentage is cheap when you sell nothing and expensive when you sell a lot, which is the opposite shape to a subscription.

Who it suits#

People running a creator business rather than a profile. If you are pitching brands, sending a newsletter, selling something and tracking all three, having them in one place is a real saving in both money and attention.

Who it does not#

If you want a page, Beacons is a lot of product to carry. You will be navigating a suite built for a job you are not doing, and the design flexibility is narrower than the surface area suggests — there is more of it than in Linktree, less than the "all-in-one" framing implies.

There is also a strategic question worth asking out loud before you invest a year in it: a suite that holds your page, your list and your storefront is a suite that is expensive to leave. That is not a criticism of Beacons specifically — it is how suites work — but it is a thing to decide deliberately rather than by drift.

The alternatives#

Stan Store is the same commerce bet made differently: $29 a month, no free plan, no percentage. Linktree is narrower and better known. Carrd is cheap and technical. Bento used to be the minimal free one, but Linktree bought it and closed it in February 2026.

The line-by-line is on Stick vs Beacons, and all of them together on the comparison page.
