Linktree is a tool for building one web page that holds all your links, so the single link
your social profile allows can point at everything instead of one thing. You sign up, add your
destinations, and you get an address like linktr.ee/yourname to put in your Instagram, TikTok
or X bio.
That is the whole product. Everything below is what the description leaves out.
What you get without paying#
The free plan gives you unlimited links, a set of basic themes, lifetime click totals and a QR code. For a lot of people that is genuinely enough, and it is worth saying plainly before the rest of this page: if you have four links and no plans, the free tier does the job.
What it holds back is the part people notice later:
- Linktree's logo stays on your page. The mark and a footer sit under your name and there is no setting that removes them below a paid tier.
- Detailed analytics only cover the last 28 days. Individual-link insights are available on Free, but paid plans extend the detailed history to 90 days, 365 days or lifetime, depending on the tier.
- You can collect subscribers, but moving the list is a paid feature. Subscribe is available on Free; audience history, exports and mailing-list integrations sit on higher tiers.
- A 12% cut of every digital product or course sale on the free plan, on top of what the card processor takes.
- No custom domain, on any plan. Your address is
linktr.ee/yourname, and unlike everything else in this list, paying does not change it. If a page on a domain you own is the requirement, Linktree is not the tool at any price. Linktree confirms this in its custom-domain help article.

Two tier boundaries matter more than the numbers: taking Linktree's branding off your page requires Pro, while paying no Linktree seller fee requires Premium. The fee falls from 12% to 9% on Starter and stays there through Pro.

Who it suits#
Linktree suits you if you want the option everyone recognises. It is the default in this category for good reasons: it has a broad integration marketplace, it has been running for years, and your audience has seen the layout a hundred times, which means they know what to do with it.
That familiarity is also the argument against it. Pages built on the free tier are recognisable as Linktree pages at a glance, because the themes worth having are on the other side of the paywall. If looking like everyone else is a problem for what you do, that is the thing to weigh.
The alternatives, briefly#
There are a lot, and they split by job rather than by quality. Beacons is a creator suite with a store attached. Stan Store is a storefront that starts at $29 a month and no free plan. Carrd builds cheap one-page sites from $9 a year. Bento, which used to be the good-looking one, is gone — Linktree bought it and shut it down in February 2026, roughly two years after closing Koji in January 2024. Lnk.Bio does long lists of links plainly.
